Cartier leaves behind his loving parents, Courtney and Jefferionna Russell (Bush), who surrounded him with care and devotion; siblings, Courtney Russell Jr., Courion Russell, Courtasia Russell, Caleyah Russell, Camiyah Russell, Caleb Russell, Courtez Russell, Blessing Bush, and Faith Stargell; grandparents, Cassandra Richardson and Fatasha Eggleton; great grandmother, Denise Harris; aunties, Elanka, Ronyah, Amarea, Ashley, Nadia, Yvette, Tionah, Tina, Tonyah, Teresa, and Javinna; uncles, Cameron, Cyron, Corey, Dawane, Lil Dale, Alex, Jeff, Demeris, Anthony, Timmy, and Rob; cousins, Antwan, Adrian, Andre, Jehwaun, Corey Dekoreye, Aleycia, Treazure, Adrianna, Sean, and Cianna; as well as numerous other family members and friends. In the embrace of family, his name will continue to be spoken with affection, and his life will remain a precious part of their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton.
