Carrie Marie Jaques

Carrie Marie Jaques, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, Dayton, Ohio. Born on July 20, 1974, Carrie was a vibrant spirit who embodied strength and resilience throughout her life.

Known for her strong-willed nature, Carrie approached every challenge head-on, displaying a stubborn yet loving demeanor that endeared her to all who knew her. Her bright green eyes seemed to sparkle with warmth and joy, reflecting the love she had for her family and friends. Carrie had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did; whether it was riding her motorcycle, mowing the grass, or cooking delicious meals for her family. She especially loved Halloween and Easter as she decorated every year.

Carrie also had a creative flair—she loved printing t-shirts that expressed her vibrant personality and interests. She found beauty in simple pleasures, particularly in her love for Gerber Daisies and the color pink.

Carrie leaves behind her beloved children, Anthony Yerance, Cheyanne Baldwin, McKaylyn Yerance, and Layla Yerance; grandchildren, Mya Hockett and Sage Yerance; brother, Stephen Jaques, Jr.; devoted mother, Rosemary West; father, Stephen Jaques, Sr.; and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her step-brother, Jeremy Wayne Sturgil.

As we honor Carrie’s memory, we remember her vibrant personality, unwavering love for her family, and the joyful moments that she created and shared. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
