Carolyn L. Taulbee

Carolyn L. "Carol" Taulbee, age 74, of Dayton, passed away on December 17, 2020, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee, on January 15, 1946, the daughter of the late Herman and Ova (Coffee) Scantland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Merlene Brown, Lois Lee, Maidy Moody and Patricia "Ann" Wilson.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Scottie Taulbee; children, Tabitha (Jeff) Lynch and Scottie (Tammy) Taulbee; grandchildren, Corey (Kaitlyn) Taulbee, Alexandria (Matt) Eshelman and Danielle Lynch; great grandchildren, Gannon Taulbee, Harper Eshelman and Teagan Taulbee; siblings, Wanda Wilson, Brenda Auberson, Harold Scantland and Randy Scantland; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In her free time, she loved to cook and was a babysitter to many. She treated and loved every child she sat for as if they were her own. Carol was loved by everyone who knew her.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
