Carolyn Sue Maiden, age 74, of Moraine passed away on May 6, 2024. She was born in Dayton on May 4, 1950 to the late Ernie and Rosa Lee Cole. In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Maiden and sons, Rodney Hoel and Ronald Hoel.

Carolyn is survived by her special grandson, James Timothy "JT" Hoel and his mother, Melissa Swisher; sisters, Debbie (Jimmy) Hoel, Marsha (Dennie Shivener) Cole; nephew, Rick Hoel; nieces, Cindy (Todd) Salley, Theresa (Jeff) Via; great niece, Jessica (KC) Clark and great nephew, Stevie Kirk; along with other family and friends.

Carolyn enjoyed cooking, shopping, gardening and spending time with her grandson, JT. She was always there to help anyone she knew. Carolyn will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Ave. Pastor Terrell Hudson to officiate.
