Carolyn L. (Bergman) Howard

Carolyn L. (Bergman) Howard, age 74 of New Carlisle, reunited with her husband, Glen Howard on February 21, 2017. She was born August 24, 1942 in Dayton, to the late Leo and Jean (Turner) Bergman. In addition to her husband and parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Bergman and special friend, Merle Smith.

She is survived by her children, Fr. David Howard and Becky (Dwayne) Messer; grandchildren, Tammy Dadisman, Johnny Chessman, Clayton Messer and Shelby Hancock; great grandchildren, Draven and Blythe; numerous extended family and friends.

Carolyn volunteered at Soin Medical Center, crocheting blankets, hats and booties for the newborns. She also helped make hats and blankets for cancer patients and the homeless. Carolyn was a proud active member of the Fairborn Senior Center "Happy Hookers". She had a heart of gold that will forever be felt by many.
