Carolyn Lee Fouts

Carolyn Lee Fouts of Dayton, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma on July 5, 1940, to the late LeRoy and Jessie Fouts.
Carolyn had a Masters Degree in education from Wright State University. She spent several years teaching overseas at various military bases for the Department of Defense. She then started a thirty year career as a elementary school teacher with Dayton Public Schools where she taught third, fourth and fifth grades. Carolyn has been a member of Bethel Christian Assembly of God since her family moved to Dayton in 1947.
She is survived by her sister, Marcie Gail (Ronald) West of Fairfax, Virginia; nephew Randy (Tammy) West of Bristow, Virginia; niece Wendy West of Fairfax, Virginia; great nieces, Kayla West, Abbigail West and great nephew, Colton West; as well as her "adopted" grandson, Brandon Lindsay.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Bethel Christian Assembly (327 S. Smithville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45403). Burial will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 10 am at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
