Carolyn S. Brown

Carolyn S. Brown, 74, of Dayton, passed away October 13, 2016. Carolyn was born in West Liberty, KY on March 19, 1942 to the late Robert and Christine Brown. In her free time, she enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" C. Hensley, Sr.; brother, James Brown; sisters, Pauline, Charlotte, Charline, Marilyn; and granddaughter, Hannah Howard.

She is survived by sons, James "Jamie" Hensley, Robert "Bobby" Hensley, Jr., Johnny Howard, Earn "Fatboy" (Nicole) Howard; daughters, Ernestine "Tine" (Albert) Linton, Christie (Ronnie) Moore; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Robert "Dee" Brown; sisters, Rosemary "Susie Q" (Tom) Mytych, Anna Ruth; and many other relatives and special friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 12:30 pm-1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
