Carole Jean Hollingsworth

Preceded in death by parents Agnes Irene Evans and Joseph Monroe Hollingsworth, brother Gary Monroe Hollingsworth, children Ray Leslie Brashear and Kathy Jo Shearer and granddaughter Erica Nicole Deters.

Survived by daughter Kimberly Ann Brashear (Paul Hannen), grandchildren Amanda Nicole Marshall (Austin Marshall), Adam Ray Hannen (Mary Hannen), Emily Jo Cupp (Robert Cupp), Samantha Jean Shearer, Molly Kim Shearer and great grandchildren Lyle, Jonah, Aiden, Sawyer, Austin, Ryder, Avery, Lucy and her loving dog Ollie.

In her working career at Wright Patterson Air Force Base she was a part of many projects that lead to her lengthy and fulfilling career. She was a proud member of the Bass n’ Gals where she got to fish nationwide in many tournaments and win many first place awards including a boat. She enjoyed her bass boat, teaching her grandkids to fish, and loved to host Christmas Eve and bake for the family. She loved bowling, playing cards, going to the casino, and watching a good Hallmark movie or anything on the Food Network.

The family would like to thank Home Instead and VITAS for the special care and attention they gave to Carole towards the end of her life. From helping her with her daily routine to keeping her comfortable, they are so grateful.
