Carol Gray
Carol M. Gray, age 85, of Dayton went to be with The Lord on Friday May 13, 2011. She was born on May 16, 1925 in Detroit, MI, to the late Francis and Ruby Finch. Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James H. Gray Sr.; daughter, Linda Shaw; and granddaughter Kristie Lynn.
Carol is survived by her four children; James H. Gray Jr., Diana Leedy, Lydia Wells, and Paula Holbrook; four teen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; sister, Enid Sturgis; brother, Stanley Finch; and a host of other family members.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2011 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park. Donations may be made in Carol's memory to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave.
