She delighted in traveling to Put in Bay and the Marblehead Lighthouse, places she often visited for their serene beauty and nostalgic significance. An avid reader, Carol had a fondness for biographies, immersing herself in the lives and stories of others. Her love of country music, especially the tunes of Brooks and Dunn, brought a soundtrack of familiar comfort to her days.
