GONZALEZ, Carlos, age 89, of Dayton, OH passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents Antonia (DeJesus) and Carlos Gonzalez; his siblings Gloria, Jenoveva, Alberto, Ramiro, Luis, Juan, Maria, Lila, and Ermen; his granddaughter Melissa Ortiz Bebbington.
He is survived by his children Lillian (Ortiz), Lynnette (Rodriguez) and Leonard; his grandchildren Carlos, Seleena, Adrian and Daniel Rodriguez and Maria Ortiz; his great grandson Mauricio McKnight along with so many other family members and friends.
Carlos was born April 7, 1931 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. His is an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He lived in Lorain, OH and Tampa FL. After retiring, he split his time between Virginia Beach and Dayton, OH. Carlos was an honorable man and lived his life to the fullest. He worked hard, he enjoyed being a "Mr. Fix-It", and he looked forward to his many projects around the house. Carlos enjoyed meeting new people along his travels and daily adventures, but most of all, he loved his family and friends. He is greatly loved and we will miss him dearly.
