Carlene Appleton, age 78 of Englewood, reunited with her husband, Maurice A. Appleton on February 28, 2018. She was born on November 9, 1939 in Detroit, MI to the late Carl and Pearl (Davis) Burgess. In addition to her husband and parents, Carlene was preceded in death by her brother, Harold "Bo" England.
She is survived by her 3 children, Teresa (Michael) Zwisler, Terry (Barbara) Appleton and Charles Appleton; grandchildren, Chad (Katy), Nathan (Amanda), Dawn (Bill), Nicole (Brad) and Marissa; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, James (Sandy) Burgess; her companion, Princess and numerous extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 10 AM on Monday, March 5 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
