Carlee Jay Dowdell

Carlee Jay Dowdell was born sleeping on December 6, 2025, at 4:12 a.m. at Kettering Main Campus.

Carlee Jay is the cherished daughter of Raymond Elijah Dowdell and Leeanna Marie Dowdell. Though her time here was brief, she was deeply loved, wanted, and will forever remain in her parents’ hearts.

She is lovingly remembered by her grandparents James Roddy, Renee Dowdell Omoregie, Raymond K. Dowdell, and Mike and Kim Strong, and is reunited in heaven with her grandmother Gwendolyn Roddy, great-grandmothers Claire Thompson and Alicia Dowdell, and great-grandparents Raymond J. Dowdell and Joyce Burroughs.

Carlee Jay is also survived by her aunts and uncles Pam (Joe Hunick), Scottland Roddy (Danelle), Sean Roddy, Isaac Dowdell (Erin), Polly Dowdell, Roxanne Barnes, Christina Harrison, Regina Watkins, and Jaylynn Watkins, along with many cousins and friends who will always remember her.

Though she was not able to stay, Carlee Jay’s life was meaningful, and her memory will be carried forward in love forever.
