C. June Ulrich

C. June Ulrich, age 87, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024. Born on December 14, 1936, in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, she was a beloved figure to her family and friends, known for her kindness and strength.

June was the cherished daughter of H.W. Whalen and Opal Whalen, both of whom have preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her husband, Joseph Ulrich Sr., son, Steve Ulrich, and her daughter, Teresa Traylor, who will be fondly remembered by all who knew them.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her son, Joseph Ulrich Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, and her son, Brian Ulrich. June took great joy in her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren: Jessica Bogart and her husband, Jason; Candice Maples and her husband, Josh; Tracy Ulrich; Erica Recore-Brown and her husband, Anthony; and Jami Ulrich. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Ryder Bogart, Mackenzie Maples, Cameron Recore-Brown, and Caleb Recore-Brown.

In addition to her immediate family, June is also survived by her sisters, Peggy Olieman and Kimberly Howell and her brothers, Donald "Butch" Whalen and Robert Isbel, along with her nephews, Michael Howell and Samuel Howell.

Services to honor her life will take place on December 4, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering, Ohio. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 11:30 AM. June will be laid to rest with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery at 1:00 PM the same day.

C. June Ulrich will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will be cherished and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
