Bruce Levere Broyles III, 3 weeks, of Dayton, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He was born January 31, 2018 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Bruce Broyles Jr. and Karecia Hooks.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bruce Broyles, Sr.; maternal great grandfather, Kenneth Ivery; maternal great grandmother, Karen Carter; paternal great grandfather, Donald Pitts; and paternal great uncle, Gregory Pitts.

Bruce is survived by his parents, Karecia Hooks and Bruce Broyles Jr.; maternal grandmother, Veda Carter; two maternal grandfathers, Kenneth Hooks, Darrell Stewart; paternal grandmother, Sharon Williams; maternal great grandmother, Yvonne Ivery; paternal great grandmother, Audrey Broyles; two maternal great-great grandmothers, Virginia Ivery, Minister Barbara Hooks; aunts, Brittney Stewart-McCray (William McCray), Keya Hooks, Sharron Pitts, LaQuata Pitts (Larry O'Neil), Toni Pitts; uncle, Elias Artis cousins, Ja'Mya McCray, Jeremiah McCray, Ka'Mauyah White; godmother, Anita Baker; special friend of the family and godmother of Karecia, Nichole Howard-McDaniel; paternal great uncles, Kenneth Pitts, Frederick Broyles, Charles Broyles; paternal great aunt, Brenda Broyles; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 10 am to 11 am at The Inspiration Church (2900 Philadelphia Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45405). A funeral service will begin at 11 am.
