Brivian Moberly

Brivian "Brenda" Moberly, born on July 31, 1931, departed this life on July 16, 2026, passing peacefully at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by loved ones. Her long and full life touched many, and her unwavering grace will be remembered by all who knew her.

Brenda's legacy is cherished by her surviving family: her grandson: Donnie (Crystal) Moberly; granddaughter, Kristy Moberly; great-granddaughter, Bobbie Thompson; her great-grandsons Dalton Moberly, Tyler (Isabella) Moberly, and Tanner Moberly; great-great-grandchildren: Selena, Beni, Klay, Jackson, and Oliver; and her brother Jimmy Farthing; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. The presence of family was always a sustaining force in Brenda's life, and her bond with each relative was marked by devotion, kindness, and warmth.

She is preceded in death by beloved family members who held dear places in her heart: her husband Bill Moberly; her father William Farthering and mother Alma Farthering; her son Donnie Moberly; her daughter Rhonda Moberly; her daughter-in-law Joanne Simpson; and several siblings who have gone before her.

Brenda's life was characterized by compassion and resilience. Whether in times of celebration or moments of sorrow, she was a steadfast source of comfort and love to those around her. She will be remembered for the ways in which she nurtured her family—offering both guidance and a gentle presence throughout the generations.

Her gentle spirit and enduring faith remained a cornerstone of her character, touching not only her immediate family but the greater community. She leaves a lasting legacy in the lives she enriched and the memories that will be treasured by those who were fortunate to call her family or friend.

Services to honor and remember Brenda's remarkable life will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026. Visitation will take place from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. Both will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. A burial service will follow at Dayton Memorial Park, 8135 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH 45414.
