Brittney Prather

Brittney Prather was born August 24, 1988 and departed this earth on December 31, 2025. Brittney showed a gentle spirit and generous heart. She radiated warmth and love, always quick to offer help and comfort to those around her. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she was always the first to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. Brittney loved spending time with her family and was known for her infectious laughter and joyous spirit.

Brittney's unexpected passing comes as a shock to her family and friends who are still reeling at the loss. She lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead of her. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace. Her kindness, love, and unwavering spirit will forever live in the memories of those who knew her. She left a legacy of love and warmth that will remain in our hearts forever. 

Brittney was preceded in death by her Grandmother Katherine; Uncles Gene and Dean; Brother Robbie. 

She is survived by her Son Jay'Zail, Mother Joy, Father Kenny, Step Mother Chelsea, Step Father Charles; Siblings Morgan, Samantha, Mariah, Brandon, Chase, Caleb (Chloe), Coeby, Keagan; Nieces and Nephews Jaydin, Darion, Jay'Lynn, Journey, Christian, Noelle, Gregory, Kensley, and Quinci.

Family and friends are welcome to gather from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where a Memorial Service will begin at 6:00pm.
