Brian Lee Owens

Brian Lee Owens, age 53, of Dayton, unexpectedly passed away December 5, 2024. Brian was born in Kettering, Ohio on August 18, 1971, to Arnold Lee and Brenda Alice Owens (Black).

Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Arnold & Mary Owens (Gourley), maternal grandparents Wilbur E & Emma V. Black (Howes), cousin Kelly Ann Morgan, Aunt Brenda Jean Richison (Owens).

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kelly D Owens; son Joshua Brian Owens & Allyson Smith, daughter Kaycee D Owens, grandsons Carter James Owens & Greyson Brian Owens, parents Arnold L Owens (Butch) & Brenda Alice Owens, brother Bradley Scott & Angie Owens (Blair) nieces Chelsea M Owens & Alexis J Owens, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brian worked for Kroger Fulfilment Center, Monroe, Ohio as a delivery driver.

In his free time, he enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ohio State football, and North Carolina Tarheels basketball. Loved being with his family and making many memories together. He loved to play cornhole, watching The Wizard of Oz, and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory on repeat, he truly enjoyed his days working with his Urbana University, Aegis, and Elite Security families. 

To best describe Brian, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, he was kind, caring, and joyful to be around, loved sharing his faith, and never met a stranger when it came to other Pittsburgh Steelers fans.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, Ohio), the funeral services will begin at 1:00pm. 

 Brian will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in a gravesite service for his immediate family.
