Brenda Lynn Milam (1949 - 2016)
Oct. 30, 1949 ~ Mar. 7, 2016 Age 66, left to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday. Residing in Alabaster, AL for the last 22 years, Brenda retired from BellSouth with over 30 years service.
Before coming to Alabama, Brenda lived and worked in Orlando, FL for a number of years. Proud to be a Disney employee, Brenda worked in merchandise in the tunnels under Disney World. Brenda was he first in her family to earn a 4 year college degree with a Major in Sociology and a minor in Criminology.
Brenda leaves behind her friend and long time companion, Cis Patti, brothers Dean, Chuck (Kathy) and LeRoy (Donna) Milam, Aunt Pauline Wright, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Willard E. Milam in 2012 and Helen Vanhorn Milam in 2015, niece Angie Milam, sisters-in-law Sue Milam and Gwen Milam.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Dayton, OH with interment in Valley View Cemetery, Beavercreek, OH. In lieu of cards and flowers please send a donation to your favorite charity. Cremation handled by Charter Funeral Home, Calera AL.
