Brenda Sue Garybush, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on January 27, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on September 12, 1952, Brenda was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She graduated from Colonel White High School, where her passion for learning was evident even then, setting the foundation for a successful career as a medical billing specialist.
Brenda was not only committed to her work but embodied a spirit of generosity and trust. She approached life with a strong faith that guided her every action, sharing her beliefs with those around her. Faithful and loyal, Brenda always saw the best in people, nurturing relationships with kindness, forgiveness, and an unwavering support. Her strength of will was matched only by her love for her family, which served as the bedrock of her life.
Brenda will be missed by her brother, Phillip Garybush (Betty); her sisters, Connie Doss and Lisa French; and an entire generation of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, including Amanda, Melinda, James, Justin, Johnathan, Elizabeth (Jeremy), Devin (Giovanna), Alexis (Garrett), David (Kelsey), and Taylor. Her great-nephew, Adrian, will remember her as a joyful presence in his life. The love and bonds she fostered will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family and friends, leaving a legacy that will endure through the years.
Among her proudest accomplishments, Brenda had a keen artistic flair, finding joy in painting beautiful abstract pieces that reflected her vibrant and loving nature. Each stroke of her brush illustrated not just her creative talent, but also her view of the world—a place full of color, kindness, and beauty.
Brenda is now reunited with her departed loved ones, including her parents, Louis and Phyllis Garybush; her brother, Doug Garybush; and her sister-in-law, Brenda S. Garybush. The love they shared continues to shine brightly in the memories of those they left behind.
As we gather our thoughts to remember Brenda, we celebrate a life lived with compassion, creativity, and love. She touched so many lives with her warmth and faith, leaving a profound impact that will forever linger in our hearts. Her spirit will remain with us, guiding us to see the best in one another, just as she always did.
A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering, Blvd., in Kettering, Ohio. Brenda's service will start at 12:00pm, officiated by Rev. David Turner. Following the service, Brenda will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
