Brenda L. Coyle, a beloved member of the Dayton community, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on February 3, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, Brenda dedicated her life to serving others with kindness and compassion, both professionally and personally.

For 20 years, Brenda worked at Good Sam Hospital, where her unwavering commitment to her patients left an indelible mark on many lives. Her goal was always to foster an environment of care and empathy, embodying the spirit of kindness that she wished to see in the world.

Brenda's warm personality was evident to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She possessed a remarkable ability to uplift those around her, leaving them feeling better about themselves. Known for her radiant smile, she brought joy into every room she entered and made friendships with ease.

Throughout her life, Brenda found immense joy in singing. From the tender age of five, her love for music blossomed, and she continued to share her gift through church performances, bringing comfort and spiritual connection to those in her community. A devoted fan of Elvis, she cherished the times spent with family and friends, often expressing her love through song.

Brenda's profound love for her family shone brightly. During their wedding ceremony, she touched the heart of her husband, Robert Coyle, by singing "the Wedding Song." Robert fondly reflected, “her eyes had me at 16, but her heart made me a better person every day for 51 years.” Together, they built a beautiful life, raising two sons: Robert Coyle II and Michael (Nicole) Coyle. She was an incredible sports fan who made her presence known as a cheerleader-especially when it came to watching her sons and grandsons play. Brenda was a proud grandmother to her four grandsons: Logan, Eli, Nick, and Micah, who brought her endless joy and laughter.

Despite facing a grueling 28-month battle with cancer, Brenda exemplified bravery and grace. Rather than questioning her situation, she remained steadfast in her belief that “God has a reason that we will understand in the bye and bye,” inspiring those around her with her faith and strength.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband Robert Coyle; sons Robert Coyle II and Michael (Nicole) Coyle; grandsons Logan, Eli, Nick, and Micah; niece Meghan (Bailey) Garber, whom she cherished as an honorary daughter; brother Jeff (Paula) Allen; sister Mary (Ron) Poling; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; as well as brothers-in-law Jeff (Jamie) Coyle and Joyce Coyle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Delores Allen; and her in-laws, Thomas J. Coyle and Carolyn S. Coyle; as well as brothers-in-law Tommy Coyle, Tim Coyle, Jimmy Coyle, and Doug Coyle.

Brenda L. Coyle's legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends as a testament to her enduring spirit.
