Bradley Preston
March 6, 2003 – September 5, 2026
Bradley Preston, 23, of Fairborn, Ohio, chose to leave this world on September 5, 2026
His smile and laughter would fill the empty spaces in the room.
To know Bradley was to know someone who felt everything deeply. He experienced emotions with an intensity that was both a gift and at times an overwhelming burden. Still, he preserved his absolute goodness, even when life was incredibly difficult.
Bradley had an extraordinary ability to see the good in people. He could be hurt and still love; disappointed and still care; have every reason to walk away, and still he would stay. He never changed his mind about the people he loved.
Highly intelligent, deeply intuitive, and a possessor of the most genuine heart. His smile and laughter would fill the empty spaces in the room. His presence calmed chaos, energized stagnation, and invoked life into every person he encountered. He spent most of his adult life in search of passion and purpose, ultimately believing Carter was his greatest contribution to the world.
Bradley was an absolute empath. He understood the feelings of others instinctively and often cared more about the well-being of the people around him than his own. He fought to be understood, in a world that wasn't quite evolved enough to appreciate his level of spiritual and intellectual consciousness. He would protect and attempt to save or guide others struggling, while somehow forgetting that he, too, was worthy of being protected, loved, and saved.
Those Who Loved Him
Bradley is survived by:
His greatest legacy and son, Carter Preston; Carter's mommy, Haley; his mother, Nina, and dad, Jason; his brothers, Julian, Christian, Thomas, Daniel, and Logan; and his sisters-in-law, Cheyenne and Hayley (Redd); his beloved nieces, Avery, Rylie, and Heidi; and nephews, Franklin and Solomon; his Memaw Nora; Grandpa Larry; Aunt Alicia; Uncles, Jonah and Abdullah; cousins, Nuha, Ayube, Lily, Stephen, and Jasmine; step-siblings, Jason Jr., Taylor, and Mary.
He is also survived by his father, Benjamin Bradley; Brother Waylon; Sister Khloe; Grandfather, Greg; Grandmother Shirley; his Aunts, Christina and Kathy; Uncle and best friend David; and the very cherished Jazmine.
Those Who Preceded Him
Bradley was preceded in death by his first child whom was conceived but never had the opportunity to be born. He held that memory close to his heart, expressing the significance and importance of that life; his beloved nephew Rowan; and Uncle Gregory.
Bradley could not always see his own value the way those who loved him saw it. But his value was always there.
And he was so much more than the sadness he carried.
Bradley, you matter. You are important. You are loved. You always were.
Your time here in this realm of reality has come to an end; you completed that quantum leap we always talked about. Don't forget, though, that you left us awake in this one without you! Guide us to the beautiful reality you now exist in. Until then, the love you gave remains—carried forward by your son, your family, your chosen family, and every person whose life you touched.
May you finally know the peace, love, and worth that you could not always feel here.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever a part of us.
“For I am the Lord your God. I am the one who is holding onto your right hand.I am the one who says to you, ‘Do not fear.’I myself am helping you.”
