Bonnie Thomas

Bonnie Lee Thomas, born on September 27, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, in Centerville, Ohio. She was a beloved member of her family.

Bonnie graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in the class of 1958, and her zest for life continued well beyond her school years. She had a profound love for animals and spent many moments in their company. Bingo was one of her favorite pastimes, bringing her joy and excitement. In her younger days, Bonnie expressed her creativity through ceramics, and she found enjoyment in the sport of bowling. Simple pleasures brought her happiness, such as coloring, a hobby she cherished throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Barb Jones, and her husband Scott; her loving son, Brian Thomas, and his wife Mary; and her grandchildren, Heather Stover, Jackie Jones, Briana Schell, and Nick Thomas. Bonnie’s legacy continues with her great-grandchildren, Gunnar Stover, Max Stover, and Elizabeth Thomas.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby G. Thomas, her parents Carl and Ruby Pitts, and her brother Fred Pitts.

As we reflect on the life of Bonnie Lee Thomas, we remember a woman who filled her years with laughter, love, and an unwavering spirit. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
