Bobby Croley, a beloved figure in his family and community, passed away on September 16, 2025, in Miamisburg, Ohio, at the age of 81. He was born on December 14, 1943, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Bobby spent a significant part of his life dedicated to his career, retiring from Appleton Paper.
In addition to his successful career, Bobby was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Marine Corps. His service reflected his deep sense of duty and commitment, values he upheld throughout his life.
Bobby was known for his strong character and caring nature, always taking care of his family. He was a man of few words, yet his actions spoke volumes. Those who knew him recognized his great sense of humor and the warmth he brought into their lives. He was loved by many, creating lasting memories with friends and family alike.
Throughout his life, Bobby had interests that brought him joy. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and had a passion for old cars, often spending hours admiring their mechanics and aesthetics.
Bobby leaves behind a loving family that cherished him greatly. He is survived by his granddaughters, Brianna (Austin) Bobbitt and Danielle Marshall, as well as his great-granddaughters, Eleanor Marshall and Penelope Marshall. He also leaves behind his brother, David (Janet) Croley. Bobby's friendships were a vital part of his life, and he will be missed by dear friends Linda Melton, Debbie Mayes and Gina South-Wells.
He rejoined his cherished deceased family members: his wife, Shirley Croley; his parents, Constance and Walter Croley; and his siblings, Jim Croley, Darlene, and Patricia. He was also preceded in death by his son, Robert Croley.
Bobby Croley's legacy of love, humor, and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him. His impact on their lives will not be forgotten.
