Bobbie Ann Stacy, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, peacefully departed this life on January 28, 2026. Bobbie was a beacon of light to those who knew her, embodying kindness and compassion in every interaction.
Bobbie dedicated many years of her life working at Friendly's, where she not only served delicious meals but also cultivated enduring friendships that felt like family. After her time working at Friendly's, Bobbie became an integral part of the Grimme children's lives, helping to nurture and raise them as if they were her own. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond mere duty; she had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel loved and valued, earning her the endearing title of "mom" from many.
A true matriarch, Bobbie possessed a gentle soul that enveloped everyone around her with warmth. Her kindness was boundless, and her generosity knew no limits. She had a rare gift for lifting others up, offering support, and showering those she loved with unfailing affection. Bobbie was not just a mother to her daughter April, her sons, Jeff, Jeremy and Jason, but a mother figure to many.
In her later years, Bobbie enjoyed traveling, attending concerts & sporting events, and working with Grant in both the hotel management & accounting industries. Her kind and loving nature created a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
Bobbie's vibrant spirit shone brightly through her passions. She delighted in singing and often shared her talents at karaoke, bringing joy to friends and strangers alike. She had a deep love for gospel and soft rock music, which reverberated in her heart and home. Her culinary skills were equally remarkable, most notably showcased in her cherished cookbook filled with family Feltner recipes—a testament to her love for cooking and sharing the warmth of family gatherings. She hosted the best family gatherings you could imagine.
She is survived by her loving daughter, April Nies (Craig Soter); her devoted sons, Jeremy Stacy and Jason Stacy; and her loving and devoted long-time partner, Grant Donovan, who stood by her through life's journey. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Josh, Caitlyn, Allen, Noah, and Violet, alongside numerous great-grandchildren who will carry her memory forward. Bobbie is also survived by her siblings: Gary Feltner (Cindy), Jack Feltner (Janice), Dana Feltner (Brenda), and Wayne Feltner (Lillian), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends, all of whom were touched by her heart and her unwavering love.
