Bobbie Jane Mason

Bobbie Jane Mason, a beloved stay-at-home parent, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, at the age of 93 in Centerville, Ohio. Born on September 10, 1931, in Combs, Tennessee, Bobbie lived a life dedicated to her family and cherished the time spent with them.

She is survived by her three children, Ronda (Ron) Baudendistel, Larry (Diana) Mason, and Les (Beverly) Mason. Bobbie found great joy in her role as a grandmother to Carie (Brian) Kahlig, Kris Baudendistel, Kevin (Jacinda Foley) Mason, Lori Baudendistel, and Evan (Christine) Mason, and was a proud great-grandmother to Ethan Mason, Ava Kahlig, Nora Kahlig, Phoebe Mason, and Eli Mason. Her family was her greatest accomplishment and brought immense happiness throughout her life.

Bobbie had a passion for bringing family together, often hosting meals and gatherings that created cherished memories for all. She was an enthusiastic shopper, relishing in the treasures found at junk stores and garage sales. In a playful nod to her love for collecting, she would hold garage sales in the spring to make room for her new finds, much to the chagrin of her late husband, Willie Lee Mason, to whom she was married for 67 loving years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Lafate Portwood and Emma Poore, and her sisters, Jean Miracle and Anna Lee Senters. Bobbie Jane Mason leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and warmth that will forever be remembered by her family and friends.
