Blossom Carylon "Carol" Lamm, born on December 30, 1938, in Chillicothe, Ohio, gracefully transitioned from this world on October 30, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by the love of her family. Carol's legacy is one of strength, humor, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
A proud graduate of Huntington High School, Carol continued her education attending classes at Ohio University, Wright State University, and The Ohio State University. Her career saw her retire from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where she served in administration, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of dedication and service.
Those who knew Carol well would describe her as independent, organized, strong-willed, funny, and gentle. She had a penchant for nurturing both plants and people, often pouring her heart into her beloved garden, most notably her cherished roses. Her hobbies reflected her playful spirit; she had a special love for animals, enjoyed thrifting, and had a unique talent for collecting dolls.
Carol created countless cherished memories with her family, including sewing Halloween costumes for her boys, Bruce Lamm and Matthew (Ellen) Lamm, when they were young—proof of her loving and attentive nature as a mother. She delighted in her role as a grandmother to Freddie Lamm, who affectionately thought of her as a “Secret Agent” due to her work with the government, an endearing testament to the pride she instilled in her family.
In addition to her children and grandson, Carol is survived by her sisters, Diana, Bonnie, and Barbara, along with her nieces, nephews, and friends who all held a special place in her heart. Carol will also be missed dearly by her fur baby Shayla, who brought joy and companionship into her life.
Carol joins her beloved parents, Delbert and Ruby Nolan, as well as her brothers, Butch and Delbert Jr., and her sister Charlaine, in eternal peace. Though she has departed this world, Carol's impact and the warmth of her memory will forever linger in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
