Blanche Ella "Maw" Norrod, age 80, of Beavercreek, passed away on December 9, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky, on August 22, 1940, the daughter of the late Kelly and Dolan Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Bobby Spencer & Denton Norrod; her sons, Bobby A. Spencer & Denny O. Norrod; and her siblings, Lonnie Bailey, Boyd Bailey and Louise Dunn.
Blanche is survived by her dear children, Mitch (Adonna) Spencer, Monetta (David) Rose, Jeffery (Susan) Spencer and Marlene (Gary) Raines; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Reva (Kelly) Banks; daughters-in-law, Beth Spencer and Amy Norrod; and many other loving family and friends.
She loved her animals, especially her poodles. Blanche was lovingly known as "Grams" and "Maw". Her laughter was contagious and she loved to make others laugh.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, from 6pm-8pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 1pm at the funeral home, with Dr. Michael Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
The family requests that anyone who isn't feeling well, to please express their condolences online, rather than in person at the funeral home.
