Billy Stump, a beloved father, son, and sibling, passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 38. Born on March 21, 1987, Billy was a man of few words, yet what he said resonated deeply with those fortunate enough to know him. He was a steadfast presence in the lives of his children, Allison, Kenneth, and Riley, embodying everything that a father should be. His dedication to his family was paramount, and he cherished his role as a parent above all else.

Billy was known for his passion for cooking, specializing in making delicious cabbage rolls and jerky, which were always a hit with family and friends alike. He had an innate ability to connect with children, and his goofy dogs, Sherman and Vedoo were a source of joy not just for him, but for his entire family. He created a warm and loving environment enriched with laughter and fond memories, touching the lives of those around him.

While Billy maintained a small circle of friends, the bond he shared with them was lifelong and treasured. His “Plat rat pack” stands testament to the loyalty and friendship he fostered, showcasing the kind of quality relationships that Billy valued. He may not have had many companions, but those he held close were treated with unwavering loyalty and love.

Billy is survived by his mother, Diana (Jim) Cremeens; the love of his life, Amanda Finley; his children, Allison, Kenneth, and Riley; as well as his siblings, Andrew Underwood, Craig (Sara) Stump, Aaron (Shani) Stump, and Becky (James) Banks. He also leaves behind a special nephew, Deven Underwood; uncle, Steve Underwood; aunt, Cynthia Foldger; sister-in-law, Misty Stump; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Stump; his siblings, Douglas Stump, Kevin Stump, and Amanda Stump; as well as his maternal grandparents, Richard (India) Underwood; uncles, Richard Underwood Jr. and Thomas Foldger; and his aunt, Catherine Shifflett.

Billy Stump will be remembered not only for the impact he had on the lives of his loved ones but also for the legacy of love he leaves behind. His memory will continue to live on through the stories shared, the meals prepared, and the laughter that will echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
