After devoting over 30 years of his career to General Motors as a Supervisor, Billy earned the respect and admiration of many. His career was not just a job to him; it was a chance to connect with others and share his good-hearted nature. Throughout his life, he was known for his kind heart and an infectious sense of humor, often brightening the days of those around him with his beloved jokes.

Billy was a man of many interests. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was riding his bicycle through the neighborhood or meticulously tending to his lawn. These hobbies were not just pastimes; they were reflections of his vibrant spirit and appreciation for the world around him.

He leaves behind his loving children, Brian H. Mays and Holly R. Mays, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness. Billy took immense pride in being a grandfather to Lindsey Mangeot and Matthew Mangeot. Additionally, he was blessed with four great-grandchildren, each a shining star in his life. The warmth of his love and laughter will continue to resonate within their hearts.

Billy is also survived by his dear friend, Chris Pannell, and his special friend, Tammie Morgan, who brought joy and companionship into his later years. He is also survived by his siblings, Junior, Margaret, and Timmy, who will remember him fondly as a caring brother.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Dorothy Mays; and his beloved son, Jesse R. Mays, whose memories he cherished dearly. While he is no longer with us in body, the light he brought into the lives of others will never fade. His legacy lives on through the laughter shared, the love felt, and the countless memories created among his family and friends.

As we remember Billy H. Mays, let us celebrate the kindness, humor, and warmth he shared so generously throughout his life. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
