Surrounded by family and friends, Billie R. Lambert, age 70, went to join those who went before him. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ben and Flossie Lambert, and two brothers, Bobby and Tommy Lambert. He is survived by his sisters, Betty (Charles) Bell, Nancy Caserta; and his loving children, Tonya (James) Lambert of West Carrollton, Ohio, Billie (Cane) Bittner of Dayton, Ohio, and Steven Workman of California. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; Taija, Cory, Tarah, Kayleigh, Brandon, Aliyah, Nathon, Janae, James; and 5 great-grandchildren; Mahari, Kameron, Elena, Ezabelle, and Everleigh. He was an army veteran, and his lifetime occupation was spent as a plumber. Surrounded by family and friends he went to join those who preceded him in death on 8/06/17. He will be laid to rest on 8/11/17 at Evergreen Cemetery, with the family viewing beginning at 10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral home. The funeral procession will follow directly after at 11 am. There will be a graveside service at 11:30 am for all who want to attend, where there will be a full honor service presented. Flowers are welcomed and can be sent to Newcomer Funeral Home. For all who would like to participate the family will be wearing blue, please feel free to do the same as this was his favorite color.
