He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorene; 1 son, Gary Black; 1 daughter, Sharon Meier; 1 granddaughter, Jennifer Spurlock; 3 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Skylar; 1 sister, Tillie Cochran and many other relatives and friends.
Bill was a member of Vandalia Nazarene Church since 1992, and was retired from McCalls/United Color Press after many years of service.
Visitation 5:00pm until 8:00pm Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd, where funeral service will be held 1:30pm Monday.
Burial at Bear Creek Cemetery.
