Beverly A. Scott, age 72 of Huber Heights, passed away on January 4, 2018. Beverly was born in Dayton to the late Robert and Doris Wright. She graduated in 1963 from Roosevelt High School and went on to work as a logistics supervisor at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Beverly retired after 37 years of loyal service. Beverly married her high school sweetheart, George W. Scott in 1964. George served in the United States Navy and he and Beverly were stationed around the world prior to his retirement from service.
Beverly was an avid reader and enjoyed passing time playing bingo and spending time with her friends at the Casinos. Beverly had a sassy personality but a kind and giving heart. She took great pride in her family and loved to spend time with them. She was a caring and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Beverly will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her sisters, Jacqueline and Robin; granddaughter, Emauri K. Scott; and aunt, Vivian Murphy.
Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, former husband, George W. Scott; children, Lisa Scott and Ebon (Allynn) Scott; grandchildren, Jamaal Scott, Ebon Scott, II, and Ebanie Scott; great-grandchildren Peyton Slaughter, Jamall Slaughter, Jr, and Le'Anna Scott; sisters, Doris Wright and Kimberly Wright; brothers, Donnie Wright, David Wright, Robert Wright, and Michael Wright; dear friends, Char, Janice, and Alice; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
