Listen to Obituary

Beverly Ann Pack, also known as Mammy, was born April 11th, 1938 in Chillicothe, Ohio. On August 5th, 2025, at age 87, she departed this world leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Norman Pack. At 5 years old, Beverly announced to her 11 year old neighbor, Norman, (and the rest of the world) that they would marry each other. 11 years later, her prediction came true. She is also preceded in death by her dear parents Elba and Dessie Marie Seymour and cherished siblings: Ranold Seymour, Arnold Seymour, Warden Seymour, Shirley Hurles and Judy Miller.

Her legacy lives on with her children: Ava (Dale) Miller, D.J (Christine) Pack, and Sonja (Howard) Titus. Beverly is also survived by her grandchildren: D (Laura) Miller, Mandy (Lance) Cunningham, Andrew Miller, Blake (Kelsi) Miller, Sam (Morgan) Titus, J.D. (Sabrina) Titus, Aaron Pack and Alex Pack. Mammy's cherished great children are Abbott, Avery, Lachlan, Delilah, Lily, Miller, Noelle, Archer, Blakey, Josie, Holly, Summer, Austin and Anna. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, 5 sister-in-laws, her dear friends (considered family) George and Becky Daulton and countless others.

Mom welcomed everyone into our home with open arms, embodying the very essence of hospitality and showing unconditional love to all. Whether she was laughing with others or at herself, her laughter was infectious and often followed by a quick wink. She was the person who always made time for everyone. Her home cooked meals, especially biscuits and beef and noodles, brought everyone eagerly to the table. Having married a veteran she happily spent many Thanksgivings in the VFW kitchen feeding the Veterans that bravely served our country.

She and Dad shared a deep love for Blue Grass music. They attended Blue Grass Festivals throughout Ohio and several other states.

Mom made many new friends when she joined the Red Hat Club, also known as The Ravishing Red Rappers.

An avid baseball fan, Mom never lost faith in her Cincinnati Reds, even when everyone else did. If the Reds were playing, she found a way to follow their games. One of her favorite memories was attending Spring Training in Arizona.

Mom loved her family and always put them first. Those who knew her would say her love of coffee was a close second. No matter the time of day, if she was awake, she was drinking coffee from one of her beloved "chicken themed" mugs.

Her grandchildren knew their Mammy would be there cheering for their success in most everything they did, except when she played 500 Rum with them. Mom shared the love of her favorite card game with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a gentle teacher and a fierce competitor Their many games were always filled with laughter. From this day on, we will now call the game Mammy 500.

The few times that Mom sat down she would be sewing on her sewing machine, clicking away with her crochet-hook and thread or smiling as as she was piecing together a beautiful quilt. Those hand-crafted masterpieces were always gifted to others.

Mom filled our lives with love, laughter and countless happy memories. Her legacy of kindness, selflessness, and devotion will endure and light the way for generations to come. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all.

In the words of her grandson, Aaron, “Mam, you're a good woman.”
