Beverly Ann Miller, of Dayton, Ohio, was born on June 20, 1939, and passed away peacefully in her hometown on May 15, 2026. Her life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and deep devotion to her family, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Beverly’s steadfast spirit was reflected in both her personal and professional life. She dedicated many years working at K-Mart, where her commitment and warmth left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Yet, it was her home—always open to family and friends—that she most took pride in. Her loving nature made her residence a haven of comfort and joy, embodying the essence of hospitality and care.
Throughout her life, Beverly found solace and inspiration in reading her Bible daily, complemented by her habit of staying informed through the newspaper. She also delighted in the simple pleasure of dining out, moments that brought her happiness and connection with others.
Her family was the heart of her world. Beverly was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Clyde Richard Miller, who stood beside her through life’s journey. She also mourned the loss of her parents, Paul and Thelma Getter, and her brothers Gary and Larry Getter. A sister-in-law, Carol Kenner, and three grandchildren also passed before her.
Surviving Beverly is a loving family that stands as a testament to the life she nurtured: her children James (Carla) Miller, Rebecca (Jeff) Berning, Tamera Hirschle, and Lori (Rusty) Coleman carry forward her memory with strength and love. Her sister Natalie (Tom) Bailey, along with sisters-in-law Debra Gibson-Pierce, Judith Pierce and brother-in-law Wayne Keener, honor her enduring spirit. Beverly’s legacy blooms in the hearts of seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were touched by her kindness.
Visitation to remember Beverly’s beautiful life will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. Beverly's family would like to extend gratitude to grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jon and Danielle Miller for all their love and care for Bev during her illness.
Beverly Ann Miller's life was distinguished by her devotion to family, faith, and community. Her gentle kindness, generosity, and open heart enriched the lives of all around her. Though she has departed this world, the warmth of her love and the strength of her spirit continue to inspire and comfort those she held dear. In remembering Beverly, we honor a life well-lived, full of love and grace, a true beacon of light to everyone privileged to know her.
