Beverly Ann Croucher (Finck), age 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 at her home in Beavercreek after a long battle with dementia. Her life and legacy is celebrated by her children who lovingly cared for her, Linda (John) Travillian, Steve Croucher and Mike Croucher; five grandchildren, Lauren Travillian, Noah Travillian, Ethan (Brianna) Croucher, Claire Croucher and Sam Croucher; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ella Louise (Bowers) Finck; husband, General Croucher Jr.; and sisters, Bettye Willett and Nancy Krause.
Beverly was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from Southern High School, she worked at Tube Turns Products in Louisville before marrying General Croucher, Jr. on September 16th, 1961. Then she embarked on the most noble profession of homemaker and lovingly raised her three children. Later on, she took a position with Beavercreek City Schools as the Librarian at Main Elementary and retired from there many years later.
In her retirement, she enjoyed getting books from the Beavercreek Branch library, attending musicals and plays with her friends, as well as attending her grandchildren's many sporting and musical events.
She was a longtime member of Kirkmont Presbyterian Church where she worked behind the scenes for many years preparing the elements for communion. She was involved in many other volunteer activities, including Cub Scouts and clown ministry at Kirkmont to name a few. She also enjoyed decorating for all the holidays, especially Christmas.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the many staff members of Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care for serving her for almost 4 years and the Rev. Charles B Hardwick, PhD, a life long family friend who is officiating the service.
Visitation will be held from 11:30am-1:00pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 1:00pm.
Beverly will be laid to rest at Beaver Cemetery following the service.
