Beverly A. (Bisping) Tolbert, 78 of Topeka, Kansas passed away Sunday September 14, 2025 in Dayton, Ohio surrounded by love. Beverly was born November 23, 1946, the daughter of Ervin and Ivalo (Stigge) Bisping. She married Keith C. Tolbert on August 18, 1972. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2006. Beverly had a career spanning more than 30 years with Kansas State University. She worked in various departments, including the College of Engineering and Career & Employment Services, where she retired in 2006. She loved spending time with her family. She spent hours talking to them on the telephone listening to their worries, giving advice or just listening. She was an avid lover of tennis, reading, tending her yard, feeding the birds and squirrels, and most of all, cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Taco. She is survived by her brothers Kenneth Bisping (Charlene), Shawnee, and Ron Bisping, Topeka; her children, Michael Tolbert, Topeka, and Mary Zoeller (Scott), Ohio; her granddaughters, Stephanie Cheadle (Andrew), Ohio, Ashley Bryan (Casey), Topeka, and Kaytlin Savage, Alma; and great-grandchildren, Ivy Cheadle, Ohio, and Zakeus Savage, Alma. She was preceded in death by her parents, and stepdaughter Terri Savage (Paul). A private memorial will be held at a future date. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Alma or the Helping Hands Humane Society of Topeka and may be left in care of the Newcomer Funeral Home of Kettering Ohio.
