Betty L. Sears

Betty L. Kammer Sears, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on September 4, 1937, in Middletown, she lived a life marked by love, devotion to family, and the simple things in life.

Betty will be remembered as a loving woman who could also be stubborn at times, a quality that was simply part of the strength and spirit that made her who she was. She found happiness in peaceful moments, especially sitting on her patio in the mornings and evenings with a cup of coffee. In her younger years, she also loved tending to her flower garden, taking joy in the beauty and care it brought to her days.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Burns, and Terri’s husband, Ron, of Riverside, Ohio; her son, Brian Kammer of Dayton, Ohio; her granddaughters, Nicole M. Ingle and Ronni Lynn Rush; and her five great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Virgel and Lulia Fullen; her first husband, William Kammer; and her second husband, William Sears.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
