Betty A. Pickrell

Betty A. Pickrell, age 77, of Dayton, passed away February 11, 2025. She was born October 20, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Pickrell; grandsons: Chase Clear and Hunter Clear; and sister, Virginia.

Betty is survived by her children: Richard Clear (Muriel), Barbara Curry (Marc) and William T. Coyle; 12 grandchildren: Caroline, Melody, Rylan, Maeverick, Jessica (Chad), Ashley (Micah), Tyler (Kirsten), Amber (Jake), Jake, Hunter Lee, Nugg and Blake; 2 great-grandchildren: Dominic and Baylor; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. 

Betty loved teaching all of her grandchildren to crochet.  During her younger years, Betty was a great softball player and she loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She enjoyed fishing and doing lots of different arts and crafts.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
