Betty P. Abele
Age 88, a life-time resident of Dayton, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Liberty of Washington Twp where she has lived for the past three years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Scott & Viola M. (Eckert) Perrin.
Betty is survived by two children, Pam (Charlie) Dryer & Philip (Deborah) Abele; six grandchildren, Andrea (Mike) Campbell, Tracy Dryer, Chuck (Jessica) Dryer, Adam LaRiche, Marie Abele & Ann Abele; nine great grandchildren; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Betty retired from Delco Products in 1987 with 30 years of service. She was a member of the Indian Lake Eagles Lodge # 3615 and loved playing Bingo and hunting mushrooms.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 17, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Betty's cremated remains will be buried with her parents at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff of Liberty of Washington Township for the loving care they provided to Betty while she lived there.
