Betty Ann McKinniss

Betty Ann McKinniss, age 84, of Dayton, passed away on May 8, 2026. Betty was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 12, 1942 to the late Emil and Anne DeCosta.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne McKinniss Sr.; son, Mitchell McKinniss; grandson, Matthew Garrison; as well as her 2 sisters.

She is survived by children, Wayne (Jami) McKinniss Jr., Debbie (Tim) Garrison, Wesley McKinniss, Denise (Pat) Rinehart and Dianna (Shawn) Harding; as well as 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In her free time, she enjoyed cheating at playing cards and games, crotchet, reading and spending time with family.

Betty was full of life. Now she is reunited with "Papa".

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 11:00am.

Betty will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton following the service.
