Betty Louise Fields Brown 92 yrs. of Miamisburg, Ohio, went to be with our lord on April 20th, 2026. Born on September 1st, 1933, in Springfield, Ohio, to Charles W. Fields and Doris M. Graham Fields. A brother, Robert W. Fields and her husband Richard R. Brown preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Brenda Kay Brown, Toledo. Two sons, David Richard Brown (Nancy), Warren, MI. and Gregory Scott Brown Miamisburg. Granddaughters, Monica Brown DiTrapani (Joe) Warren, MI. and Andrea Brown Roels (Nick) Troy, MI. Four great grandchildren, Benjamin, Hannah, Emersyn and Lennon.

Betty graduated from Findlay High School in 1952. Completed office training school in Columbus, where she met her future husband in 1953, then worked for Borden’s as a secretary.

Betty married Richard R. Brown at the Benton Ridge Methodist church on September 19th, 1954. She worked for Bailey Meter, in Wickliffe and Fostoria Industries. She was co-owner and manager of the Tropical Cove Pet Shop with her husband from 1974-1988 in Fostoria, Ohio. She volunteered at C.A.S.A. and the gift shop at Fostoria Hospital.

Betty enjoyed reading mysteries, golfing, and participating in parades with the Zenobia Shrine Jeepsters. She enjoyed travelling the world with her husband. Betty was quite witty and had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. She loved her family and friends. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. There will be a “Celebration of Life” at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Parkinson Research or breast cancer research in Betty’s memory.
