It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty Lee Lillard, age 88, of Dayton, Ohio, who departed this life on Friday, February 20, 2026. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, on February 27, 1937, she graced the world as the daughter of William S. and Emma Logan (nee Hughes).

Betty was a vibrant spirit whose love for the Lord was evident in all her endeavors. Revered as a master gardener, she possessed a remarkable ability to nurture even the frailest of plants back to life, symbolizing her nurturing spirit and dedication. A strong-willed woman, she faced life's challenges with resilience, always managing to rise after each setback, embodying an inspiring tenacity.

Throughout her life, Betty found joy in dancing, laughter, and playing the piano. She was not only a devoted mother but also a cherished friend to many, always keeping her loved ones close. Her selflessness shone brightly as she adeptly raised five children, a testament to the values instilled by her parents and the unwavering love she held for her family.

Betty is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Lee Lillard, and her devoted parents, William S. Logan and Emma Logan. She leaves behind a loving legacy, including her cherished daughters, Jacquelyne Lee (Durron) Jordan; Elizabeth G. (Robert) Cook and Vanessa Lynn Lillard; sons William S. (Sonja) Lillard and Christopher A. Lillard; twelve adored grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and siblings Peggy Russell, Frances Thomas, Anna Logan, and William S. (Gwen) Logan, II. She is also survived by a multitude of other family members and friends who will remember her fondly.

Graveside services for Betty will be conducted at a later date.
