Betty Hall

Betty Hall, born November 27, 1944, in Sparta, Tennessee, passed away on September 20, 2026.

Betty was a graduate of Beavercreek High School and later completed beauty school. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and her faith remained an important part of her life. Betty was especially proud of her family and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She was an Elvis fan, and her love of the color purple was so well known that she became affectionately known as the Purple Lady. She loved purple in every form and made it a joyful signature of her life. Betty also devoted herself to caring for her husband, Tom “Pops” Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Roger “Pops” Hall; her son, Tom Roger Hall; her mother, Ruby Lee Denton; her father, Joe Denton; and her sister, Glenda Denton.

Betty’s memory will be treasured by her family, including her sons, Kenny B. Hall and his wife, Laura, and Terry L. Hall and his wife, Julia. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brandon M. Hall and his wife, Makynzie, Ryan T. Hall, Jordan T. Hall, Claire E. Hall and her husband, Sean, and Allie M. Hall; her great-grandson, Porter J. Hall; her brother, Michael Denton and his wife, Katy; and her daughter-in-law, Mandy Hall. Surrounded by the love of her family, Betty’s legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and in the memories they will continue to hold close.

Betty will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her faithful spirit, and the warmth and individuality she brought to those around her.
