Betty Greene
Betty L. Greene, age 76 of Dayton, passed away May 3, 2011. She was born March 7, 1935 in Tennessee to the late Ed and Hazel Capps. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Greene; three brother-in-laws, Claude Bullen, Rufus Greene and Kermit Clark; and nephew, Richard Greene.
Betty is survived by her children: Patricia (Robert) Jones, James (Marla) Greene and Jeffrey (Sheila) Greene; 2 grandchildren: Olivia Paige Greene and Arrianna Stansfield; sisters: Wanda Bullen, Billie Owens and Frances "Tommy" Clark; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Bearcreek Cemetery.
