Bette A. King, age 93, of Beavercreek, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
Bette was born in Sardinia, OH on November 7, 1923 to the late Wilbur & Vie Whitney.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Virgil King.
Bette is survived by her children, Randall (Joan) King, Janan King and Sally Roudebush; grandchildren, Mindy (Chris) Norris, Carrie (Neil) Stewart, Leslie (Matt) Currie, Nicholas Roudebush, Laura (Jim) St. Pierre, Brent Ullmayer and Tami (Aaron) Brehm; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Dylan, Justin, Colton, Colin, Isla, Owen, Maya, Eli, Ryan, Lisa, Shane and Blake.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Bette will be laid to rest next to her husband at Woodland Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Trinity Retirement Community & Hospice of the Miami Valley for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bette's memory to either Trinity Retirement Community or Hospice of the Miami Valley.
