BRANDT, Bette J. Curtis, age 88, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2018. Bette was born in Elizabethtown, NJ to the late George and Viola Good. Bette married Robert J. Curtis in 1953. The two shared 30 years together. Bette worked as a secretary and travel agent for many years. She married Lt. Col. USAF, Retired Robert Lavern Brandt in 1998, with whom she shared her last 19 years with.
Bette loved to travel, she was able to visit many countries around the world. She took great pride and joy in her family. Bette was a loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Bette was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert J. Curtis; son, Mark R. Curtis; brother, George; and sister, Lucy.
Bette leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Lt. Col. USAF, Retired Robert Lavern Brandt; sons, Sandy (Grace) Curtis and Scott (Erika) Curtis; granddaughter, Samantha (Joseph) Redden; great-granddaughter, Gracen Lisbeth Redden; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A private graveside service to be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
