Beth Ann Summers, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on May 20, 1980, in Dayton, Ohio, Beth’s life was marked by her nurturing spirit and commitment to her family.
A graduate of Trotwood Madison High School, Class of 1998, Beth recently achieved her STNA certification, showcasing her dedication to caring for others. She spent her career as a State Tested Nursing Assistant at Edgewood Manor, where her kind and loving nature made a profound impact on both her colleagues and the residents she cared for.
Beth was deeply devoted to her two sons, Blayne and Mason Summers, with whom she cherished every moment. Her love for them was evident in everything she did. Outside of her professional life, she found joy in reading and journaling, often using these passions as outlets for her thoughts and creativity. Her sense of humor brought light to those around her, ensuring that laughter was a constant companion in her life.
She is remembered affectionately by her family: her father, Rick Wagoner; her sister, Jessica (Leonard) Johnson; and her brother, Rickey (Jazmyn) Wagoner. She was also a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, including Jordan Johnson, Jonathan Bowling, Aiden Simpson, Logan Wagoner, and Remington Wagoner. Beth’s close friendships with individuals such as Jimmy Holbrook, Janice Smith, and Audri Tyree enriched her life and the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Beth was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Eileen Farthing; her maternal grandfather, Daniel Branch; her paternal grandparents, Arnold Wagoner and Faye Wagoner; her mother, Sheryl Wagoner; and her maternal aunt, Crista Stone. Each of these relationships shaped the wonderful person she became, and they will forever be remembered in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
