Bessie Moore, age 87 of Dayton, reunited with her husband, Samuel Moore on May 31, 2018. She was born on May 10, 1931 in Albany, GA to the late John Jones and Emma Porter. In addition to her parents, Bessie was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred and brother, Earless.
She is survived by her brothers Roosevelt Nealy and Joe Nathan Jones, sisters Emma Johnson and Carrie Brewer, and numerous other family and friends.
Bessie loved attending Mt. Mariah Church in Dayton. She enjoyed dancing and cooking. Her greatest love besides her faith was her family, especially children.
Family will receive friends from 9-10 AM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a Celebration of Life will begin at 10 AM.
