Brown, Berthe E., age 81 of Huber Heights, passed away December 25, 2016. She was born in Polera, NY on April 15, 1935.
Berthe had two sisters Norma and Joan. She also had a nephew Tommy and 2 nieces Gracie and Lori whom she was always fond of. Berthe loved all animals but especially loved birds. In addition, she was an avid bowler and loved NASCAR. She fostered 76 children in addition to raising 2 of her own children. Two of her foster children, Susan Dunn and Shelly Derringer, preceded her in death and they were always very special to her. Berthe had a vibrant personality, cared for others and everyone who knew her loved her. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years Bennett Brown; Children Ashlee Brown, and Mathew Brown; Step-son Henry Brown; Very dear foster child Cynthia Elzey; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many extended family and friends
The family will be having visitation on Saturday January 21, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore road, starting at 11am till time of service at 11:30am.
